You can move surveys and materials between your own team and its subgroups yourself. Moving a survey to a different organisation, for example from a consultant to a client, is done by our support team.
Move a survey to another subgroup in your organisation
Go to Questionnaires and tick the checkbox next to the survey.
Click Actions > Transfer.
Choose the team or subgroup to move it to and confirm.
You need the Transfer resources permission in your role. Admins have it by default; see Admin and Producer roles. Materials such as images and map files can be moved the same way from Materials.
Who can see the survey after the move depends on the subgroup’s members. See How can I control what team members can see or do? (Subgroups).
Move a survey to another organisation
For example when a consultant hands a finished survey over to their client, or a researcher moves to another university.
Email support@maptionnaire.com with the survey link, the name of the team it should move to, and whether it should include the responses.
Copy in someone from both organisations, so we can see that both agree to the transfer.
We transfer a copy of the survey, with its results if you asked for them. The original stays where it was unless you ask us to remove it.
Rename a team or subgroup
Teams and subgroups can’t currently be renamed in Maptionnaire. If you need a different name, contact support@maptionnaire.com.
