The discussion element is a comment box that you can add to your survey. It is especially useful if you want to ask respondents feedback on specific locations on the map, as you can also add it to the  Pop-up map.

Please note that respondents MUST register and log in (with their email address) before they can leave a comment. This is necessary to prevent spam.

  1. Go to Survey settings and to the first tab, General. Turn on Allow discussion comments


  2. Go to the page or Pop-up map element in which you want to ask for comments. Open the Element library and add Discussion element.


  3. Write a heading that will appear above the commenting box, e.g. a question.


    Remember that you need to moderate the comments that respondents leave. You can hide them by clicking the three dots on the upper right corner of the comment, and selecting Hide comment (moderator action).
