Save and reuse questions from the element bank

The Element bank is a way to save good question formulas and other content that you want to re-use (e.g. logos, privacy policy...) as templates to be used in new surveys.

Use content from the Element bank

  1. Click on Browse element bank in the element library.

  2. The Element bank has three sections, Favorites, All elements and Templates.

Favorites includes all questions and other content that have been 'starred' as favorites (see steps below) in your team. Click the question to add it to your survey. You can use it as it is or edit it to suit the new survey.

All elements tab allows you to browse all questions (not just favorites) in your team.  Use the text search and the filter by type drop down to browse more easily.

Templates includes content that the Maptionnaire team has prepped for you to use – including instructions for respondents!

Saving content in the Element bank

  1. To add elements to your favourites, go to the desired element’s settings, and click the star button.

  2. Now, when you open the element bank again, you will see your favourite element. Click the element to add it to your questionnaire.
