What are Project Pages?

Project Pages are essentially a simple, accessible website that complements the survey. It's included in the Communicate and higher subscription levels.

Here are some ideas of how to use project pages:

  • Create a landing page to provide stakeholders with more information on the project, incl. planning documents
  • Keep stakeholders updated about events and deadlines
  • Direct respondents to answer questionnaires via links or by embedding the questionnaire
  • Direct respondents to the project pages after they complete the survey
  • Share questionnaire results
  • Ask for additional information that was not covered by the questionnaire

Here's a demo for the imaginary city of Oakhaven. We've also used the Project Page editor to create our demo pages

Ok, so how do I create one?

In this example, we are creating a landing page with a a couple of subsection pages.

  1. On the top bar in your team, there's a section called Pages. That's where you create and launch all pages that you create. Click New page to start.

  2.  Go to Settings.

Click the element on the page to open its editing window.  For each setting, you can get additional instructions by clicking the symbol.

  5. By default, the elements are aligned to the middle of the page. If you want to align some elements to the left or right, or add different backgrounds (e.g. an image), use the Columns element. If you just want a graphic to span the extent of the screen, choose the Hero image element.
  6. Click Preview to see what the page looks like. When you're ready to launch, click Publish. You can still edit the page, just remember to re-publish it every time to activate them in the live version.

  7. Now you have created the landing page. It's up to you to decide if you want to provide all information on that one page, or create subsections. Each subsection will be its own page, which you create exactly the same way as the landing page (steps 1-5). Give each of these subsection pages the same tag in Settings and publish them.

  8. To link the subsection pages to the landing page, open edit mode on the landing page. Add either the Carousel or Grid element. Select Pages as the element's type and select the tag from the menu below. When you go to Preview, all subsection pages should now appear in the carousel/element as links.

You can also add a navigation bar by adding the Pages menu element. to the landing page.

  9. Preview and publish. The landing page should now have a section listing the pages under it.

You can add or edit the title, description and image that you see in the Carousel/Grid in each page's Settings.
