Apply filters based on responses to other questions (e.g. demographics or open text answers)

1. Click Filters on the top bar to open the filtering panel.

   

2. Select a filter that you want to use.

   Questions and Spatial filters will filter all questions in the questionnaire, including map questions. 

   Pop-up filters will filter map responses based on the questions asked in the related pop-ups. These filters will only apply to the specific map questions that they are linked to.

   

3. Click Add filter to add a filter and choose a specific condition.
4. Click Apply to apply the filter. The map now shows only the pins/lines/areas that fit this condition.

Good to know:

• Multiple filter conditions can be applied at the same time. 

• When there are multiple conditions, you can choose whether responses need to match all of them or any of them from Filter mode. 

• It is also possible to show the map responses in different colors depending on the response (conditional formatting)
