In brief, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implemented by the European Union (EU) in 2018 means that an individual owns and should always have access and right to modify or delete the personal information collected about them. At Mapita, we take data protection very seriously and adhere to the GDPR in the services we provide. However, it is always the customer's responsibility to ensure that when they collect data with Maptionnaire, their survey meets the GDPR standards.
How do I ensure that my Maptionnaire survey is in accordance with GDPR?
There are several settings which help you achieve this:
1. Include a link to your company's privacy policy in your survey.
2. Switch on the Ask for publication consent settings in your questionnaire's settings.
3. Ask your respondents to register (using their email or Google/Facebook accounts) and sign in to complete the questionnaire. In this way, they can manage the information they have given through their profile, which shows all the data collected.
