Share map responses on a project page

Show the map answers from your survey on your project page, so visitors can explore where people marked their ideas and concerns. You prepare the map in the analysis tool, and then place it on the page.

1. In the analysis tool, prepare the map view you want to show on the page. For more information on how to do this, see:

2. If you want the map pins/lines/areas to be clickable and show the associated comment when clicked, add those questions in Charts. 
3. Save the map and the associated questions in the same view.
4. Open your Project Page in Edit mode. Click Add element and choose Response map under Maptionnaire resources.
5. Choose the Questionnaire from the list.
6. Choose the View you saved the map in.
7. Under Published data, choose what visitors can see: Visuals only shows the map as you set it up, and Show answers also lets visitors click a pin, line or area to read the answer linked to it. Remember that the published page is public, so check that the answers are suitable to show.
8. Click Preview to check the map, then Publish the page.
