Edit with AI makes changes to your survey for you while you work in the editor. Describe the change in plain language and it adds, rewrites or rearranges content in a few seconds. It works on any survey in draft, whether you started with AI or from scratch.
-
Open the panel
In the editor, click the Edit with AI button (the sparkle icon, top right). The panel opens next to your survey.
-
Ask for a change
Type your request in Ask for a change and send it. AI makes the change and tells you what it did. Check the result in the editor.
Get better results
- Be specific. Use the exact names of pages and questions. Add a question to "About You" works better than add a question to the last page.
- Ask for one change at a time, so you can check each result before the next one.
- Type @ to pick maps and images from your Materials.
- Translate last. Don't translate questions until the survey is almost ready to publish.
What you can ask
| You want to… | Try asking |
|---|---|
| Add a question | On the page "About You", add an optional open question asking for the respondent's postal code. |
| Rewrite text | Make the intro text on "Welcome" shorter and friendlier. |
| Change answer options | In "How often do you visit the park?", add the option "Less than once a month". |
| Make questions optional | Make all questions on "About You" optional. |
| Use your map material | Add @Planned playground sites to the page "Improvements and Priorities". |
Undo a change
Click Undo at the top of the panel to reverse the last change. To start a fresh conversation, click Clear chat history.
