Use this element when you want the respondent to be able to choose multiple options as an answer.

How to use this element:

  1. Add the question element to your draft.

  2. Write the question in the space for question label, and the answer options in the boxes below. You can add boxes by clicking the +

  3. Turn on Add "Other, please specify" as the last option if you want the last option to be "Other". When the respondent chooses it, a text field where they can specify what they mean opens automatically.
  4. Select a style (List style) for the question, e.g. drop-down menu.


Additional settings:

  • Have a lot of options that you need to add (e.g. all neighborhoods in a city)? Use Bulk add to copy+paste them.
  • Add images or icons to the answer options
  • Use branching rules to direct respondents to different content based on their answers
  • Under Extra settings you can also Randomize the order of options for each respondent
  • Set the question to be mandatory: Under Extra settings you can determine a minimum and maximum number of options that the respondent must choose. If not set, the respondent can choose as many as they wish or none.
